This Privacy Policy explains what data Taurget ("the App", "we", "us") collects, why, and how it's handled. Taurget is currently operated by an individual based in Australia ("the Operator").
Account data: email address and password (handled securely via Firebase Authentication — we never see or store your password in plain text).
Portfolio data you enter: cryptocurrency transactions (coin, quantity, price, platform, date, optional notes), and your sell-strategy settings (take-profit / stop-loss levels and percentages). This data is self-reported by you — we have no access to any real exchange, wallet, or bank account.
Device data for notifications: a push-notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging), used only to deliver alerts you've configured. You can disable push notifications entirely at any time from the Account page.
Currency preference: your chosen display currency (USD/EUR).
We do not collect wallet addresses, private keys, exchange API keys, or any data that would give us access to your actual funds — Taurget never has custody of, or access to, your money or crypto assets.
We use the data above solely to operate the App's core features: calculating your portfolio metrics, displaying your sell strategy, and sending you the price alerts you've configured. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Because we rely on Google Cloud infrastructure, your data may be stored or processed in data centers located outside your country of residence.
We retain your account and portfolio data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your associated data is deleted from our systems within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the GDPR (including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority), which we honor on request even though the Operator is not established in the EU.
Push notifications are entirely optional and controlled by you. You can turn them off globally at any time from the Account page in the App; doing so stops all alert delivery without affecting your stored data or strategy settings.
Taurget is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
